New Rockford 4th of July 2022 Celebration

Celebrate Independence Day all weekend long in New Rockford and Sheyenne!

The festivities get underway Friday night, with "Slamabama" live on 8th Street outside the Eagles Club.

Go for a run/walk early Saturday. Registration for the 2nd Annual Freedom 5K opens at 7 a.m. with the race starting at 8.

Other Saturday events include the Big Cup Golf Tournament, Lions Lucky Duck Race, and street dance outside Buck-Its Bar featuring "The Kissing Company."

Get your motors running Sunday at the B & B Racers go-kart track downtown, with free rides for kids of all ages.

The Lions will serve up smoked brisket and sides Sunday evening, and the day will come to a late end with fireworks over the James River at dusk.

On Monday, July 4, the New Rockford and Sheyenne parades will have their usual 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. time slots, respectively. The annual BBQ meals at the Eagles Club in New Rockford and Ostby Hall in Sheyenne will follow.

Take the kids for pool games at the New Rockford pool or enjoy the NDRA rodeo in Sheyenne's Hendrickson Park.
