After a full day of fun activities on the farm, the youngsters got to enjoy popsicles before heading back into town.

One of the days' last activities was a hay bale ride through New Rockford, and the kids had a blast riding through town on a gorgeous afternoon. The hay ride lasted seven or eight miles, said Settelmeyer. The youngsters rode downtown, past the New Rockford-Sheyenne Public School and Lutheran Home of the Good Shepherd, and took the gravel roads back to Settelmeyers' farm.

The kids also got to meet a mule, and were able to ride a miniature pony named Honey Bear and a mini cow named Storman Norman. Pictured above is Thor Logan being led for a ride on Honey Bear by Joe Linneman.

Among the various activities students enjoyed was horseback riding on Skip, the horse. Loren Anderson and Jess Olson took each of the kids for a ride on Skip, including Bryson Miller, who can be seen riding Skip at left, led by Anderson.
