4-H Shooting Sports Update: May 23, 2022

On Sunday, May 8, the 4-H shooting sports club had their meeting. The first order of business was the treasurers’ report. Then club leader, Michael Brazil, reminded us about the Buck It’s fundraiser on May 14 at 4 p.m.

For an activity, he showed us how to lash logs together with twine. After he showed us lashing, we tested how strong the logs were by sitting on them, everyone all together.

Chaztin Wobbema was given the book of knots and will learn the Timberhitch knotch to teach us at the next meeting.

Meeting was adjourned by President Jackson Brazil. Our next meeting will be on Sunday, May 22, from 3 to 5 p.m.
