New Rockford and area folks extend sympathy to the family of Lillian Gisi.

Shirley Packard called son, Craig, Sunday and wished him a happy 59th birthday. Craig is doing okay and lives in Minnesota.

Sunday, Janet Laube visited with sister-in-law, Lois Ockert, over the phone and took YipYip for an afternoon drive. YipYip is sad to see the snow gone as he loved snow cones.

Tuesday found Eloise Lucht on the South Central Transit on a trip to Minot, where she had an appointment at the Trinity Eye Clinic. Things are going okay. Friday, she had an appointment at the Eye Clinic in Devils Lake.

Calvin Packard and mom, Shirley, were among those who enjoyed the Fireman’s breakfast Sunday at the fire hall in New Rockford.

Mary Gehrtz, Todd Harrison and Calvin Packard were helpers and errand doers this week at the Shirley Packard home.

Enjoying homemade pudding cake at the Ken and Marvis Holte home were Amanda Bickett and Izzy, one day.

Eloise Lucht heard from son, Alan, and Julie Lucht. They made it safely back to Germany. Julie is busy making quilts. Son, Alan, and family called from Virginia, where the grass is green and almost ready for the mower.
