Eddy County 4-H members compete in Communication Arts

On Sunday, May 1, seven 4-H members from Eddy County competed in the county's 4-H Communication Arts Contest held at the Eddy County Extension office. Ardyce Snyder and Donna Anderson, Eddy and Foster County Extension Agent, evaluated the presentations.

The Communication Arts Contest is the 4-H speech and demonstration competition which is held at the county, district and state contest levels. Participants are encouraged to use their own creativity and originality in preparing their public presentation.

The Communication Arts program is open to any youth involved in extension youth programs. It includes three age divisions: the Cloverbuds (youth 5-7 years old) the Junior division (youth 8-12 years old) and the Senior division (youth ages 13-18).
