4-H Shoot Sports Update: May 9, 2022

On April 20, 2022, the 4-H shooting club had their meeting. Our first order of business was to remind everyone to finish their T-shirt orders and hand them in.

Next, club leader Michael Brazil informed the group that the Eagles Club had made a $5,000 donation to purchase supplies for club events. The group discussed and approved a list of several items including ammunition and shooting supplies.

The club also set a date for the first camping trip, which will be June 3 and 4 at Warsing Dam. Camping supplies will be purchased by individual 4-H’ers, using funds earned at this year’s Rod and Gun Club Raffle Event.

Another item of discussion was changing the meeting day and time. Meetings will now be held on the second and fourth Sunday of the month.

The next meeting will be on Sunday, May 8, from 3 to 5 pm.
