New Rockford and area folks extend sympathy to the family of Paul Reis.

Thursday found Shirley Packard on her way to Fargo on the Foster County Transit. Shirley was a guest at the Willie and Linda Lies home. Thursday, Linda drove Shirley to an eye appointment. Later, the gals truly enjoyed a visit with Barb Lies. Evening found them among other family and friends attending a prayer service for Stan Guler at the West Funeral Home in West Fargo. Shirley was an overnight guest at Willie and Linda’s. Friday, they were among those who attended the funeral service for Stan at St. Andrew Lutheran Church, also in West Fargo. Vida Klocke, Tim and Tom Hartl and Tessa Hartl were among family who also attended the funeral. Shirley returned home later Friday with Tim, Tom and Tessa.

Marvis Holte and daughter, Amanda Bickett, drove to Prairie Inn on Thursday, and enjoyed tea and treats.

Stoppers, helpers and readers this week at the Shirley Packard home were Calvin Packard, Kevin Johnson, Ruby Simms, Randy Linderman and Diane Rue.

Janet Laube enjoyed Sunday phone calls with Lois Ockert and Robin Westall, both of Fargo.
