Hendrick Thomas Buehler joined the world on April 5 at 12:30 p.m. He weighed in at 6 lbs 8 oz and 20 inches long. His parents, Hunter and Grace Buehler couldn’t be more proud. Everyone is home and doing well. Congratulations to the Buehler family.

Nadley Buehler traveled Tuesday afternoon to meet Hendrick at the Jamestown hospital.

Dave Kenner and Randy Simon visited Todd Buehler last week.

Brittin and Brooks Buehler visited Papa Todd and Grandma Nadley last week.

Hunter, Grace and Hendrick visited Papa Todd and Grandma Nadley on Saturday afternoon.

Jim Howard from Bismarck spent last week at the John and Donna Grann home. He came to shoot gophers, but it was too cold for them to be out, so he helped fence instead.

Lacey Grann competed in the Roughrider Rodeo in Minot over the weekend. Johnny Grann was home for the weekend and traveled with her.

Ben Grann judged the Junior High School Rodeo in Valley City over the weekend.

Pam Schmid and Jane Smith enjoyed the DPRCA production, “I’m Just Wild About Harry” in New Rockford on Sunday.

Doris Griffin reports that she has at least three goose nests and two geese sitting on eggs.

Randy Simon went to the baseball opener for the SNR Black Sox vs Midkota-Dakota Prairie-Lakota-Griggs County double header on Monday in New Rockford. Easton Simon is a member of the team.

Last Friday, Charlotte Simon traveled from Bismarck with her sister, JoClaire Halvorson, to Grants Pass, Ore. to visit their mom’s brother, Albert Garman and family. From there, they flew to Monterey, Calif. to visit their mom’s younger sister, Betty Buttle and her family. Following their visit with the Buttle family, they flew to Phoenix, Ariz. to visit their sister, Linda Duchscher and her husband, Keith. The ladies returned home on Saturday.

Randy spent Friday evening with Carson, Heidi, Max and Elin Thompson in Grand Forks. On Saturday, they all attended the basketball tournament. Easton Simon and other eighth graders from New Rockford-Sheyenne participated in the eighth grade division.

Dave and Linda Madson dog-sat their granddog, Bruce, over the weekend. Melodie, Kennedee and McKenzee Madson and Lezlee Thorson spent the weekend in Rugby for hockey camp for the girls and Lezlee visited friends from when she lived in Rugby.

Linda enjoyed a phone visit with her friend, Carol Griffin Eckart of Bismarck on Sunday.

Sunday afternoon, Linda was a coffee guest at Melodie’s home.

Lester Roberts enjoyed some good music at the Frozen Fingers Festival in Minot on Saturday.
