Grant program provides street trees at no cost to residents

More new trees will be planted along New Rockford’s streets this spring.
A $10,000 award from the North Dakota Forest Service’s Community Forestry grant program will put an estimated 50-60 trees in the ground, as well as allow local officials to clean up street trees damaged by the 2018 wind storm.
