Anne (Copenhaver) Newhouse, 62, passed away from health issues for the past year on Thursday, Feb. 10, 2022, in Tucson, Ariz.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 from 1 to 5 p.m. and continue on Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Evans Funeral Home, Carrington. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at 2 p.m. at Evans Funeral Home, Carrington, N.D. Burial will be held at Carrington Cemetery. Rev. Rick Loewen will officiate the service with special music by Ione Somsen. Honorary bearers are all of Anne's family and close friends.

Anne was born to Stanley and Genevieve (Huss) Copenhaver on July 13, 1959, in Carrington, N.D. She attended Estabrook County School until the eighth grade and graduated from Carrington High School in 1977. She attended North Dakota State School of Science in Wahpeton, N.D. in 1979 and graduated with a Secretarial Degree. In 1998, she met the love of her life, Tom Newhouse, they married in Las Vegas in 2002. She and Tom lived in Tucson, Ariz. with their loveable dogs.

She is survived by her parents, Stanley and Genevieve Copenhaver; siblings Pat, Carrington, N.D.; David (Joan), Carrington, N.D.; Jane (Graham), Reynolds, N.D.; Mary Jo, Jamestown, N.D.; Steve (Pam), Sykeston, N.D. and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Tom.
