4-H Shooting Sports Update: March 21, 2022

On March 9, the 4-H club for shooting sports held a meeting at the Eddy County Extension Office. The meeting was brought to order by President Jackson Brazil. Everyone was in attendance except secretary Charlie Jorgenson. Our first order of business was to address fundraising. We learned that we could only do fruit fundraising at certain times of the year. We will continue to think of fundraising ideas.

Shooting sports club leader Michael Brazil led a lesson on proper practices for trap and rifle shooting. We also had some hands on activity by practicing knot tying with nylon rope. The meeting was adjourned by Jackson Brazil. The next meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 23, yet to be determined on place.
