New Rockford and area folks extend sympathy to the family of Marion Larson. Family and friends attended her funeral Friday at First Lutheran Church in New Rockford.

Thursday Marvis Holte treated daughter Amanda Bickett and Holly Zieman to coffee and treats at the Garden Gate in Carrington.

Janet Laube enjoyed phone calls with sister-in-law Lois Ockert of Fargo, niece Shelly Nelson of Oklahoma and grandson Travis Laube of Fargo Sunday.

Eloise Lucht says son Alan and Julie Lucht are packing up for the move back to the United States from their home the last three years in Germany. Alan is employed with civil engineering. His time is up in Germany and they will be back in the states in April. That is the plan. They are wished a safe departure from Germany and will be welcomed home.

Frederick Allmaras was the guest of honor at his home with family and friends Saturday as he celebrated yet another birthday. Happy birthday Fred!

Todd Harrison and Calvin Packard were helpers one day this past week at the Shirley Packard home.

Shirley Packard enjoyed a phone call from son Craig from Minnesota Sunday evening.
