On Tuesday, 2-22-22, Charlotte Simon and a group of friends gathered at Harriman’s in Maddock to help Rachel Markestad celebrate her birthday.

Charlotte traveled to Grand Forks and spent Thursday and Friday with Max and Elin Thompson while mom, Heidi and Dad, Carson were at work and there was no school.

Friday evening, Charlotte went on to Fargo and spent that evening and Saturday with her sisters, Lori Pedersen and Valerie Heggeness.

Randy and Charlotte attended the Benson County 4-H pancake and sausage feed at the Event Center on Sunday.

Randy’s recovery from knee surgery is going well.

Dave Kenner and John Rice visited Todd Buehler last week.

Nadley Buehler spent last weekend with Joe, Elisa and Annley Wentz and Maynard in Bismarck. Brian, Annette and Tyler Wentz also stopped by over the weekend to visit and share meals. The family is extremely happy to be back in Bismarck.

Randy Simon visited Todd this past week.

Nadley joined Sherry Boehmer in Devils Lake for brunch Saturday morning.

Hunter Buehler and Breana Pacheco spent a few days with Joe, Elisa and Annley in Bismarck last week. Annley is very happy to be home with her family.

Calvary Lutheran Church in Oberon has Sunday services at 9 a.m. the second and fourth Sunday of the month. Lenten services at Calvary will be at 7 p.m. on March 23 and April 6. Easter Sunday service will be at 9 a.m.

Dave and Linda Madson dog-sat their grand dog, Bruce, this weekend while Melodie and Kennedee Madson were in Bismarck for the ice skating competition on Saturday. Kennedee is a member of the Devils Lake Region Figure Skating Club Synchro Team, The Shooting Stars. The team took third place.

McKenzee Madson spent Saturday morning with Great Grandpa and Great Grandma Madson. Grandma Linda took her to the Burdick Arena for her Devils Lake Flames hockey game. Linda enjoyed watching the game along with friends who were there cheering for their granddaughter on the team.

This weekend, Amanda Hegland’s parents, Terry and Nancy Weischedel from Gettysburg, S.D. came to visit her and the family.

Saturday, the group took a trip to Cows and Co. Creamery near Carrington. They enjoyed the gelato and cheese.

Saturday night, Jill Zietz and family and Jarvis and Patty Hegland were supper guests at Jake and Amanda’s home.

On Sunday, many family members were in Carrington to watch Fallyn and Piper at their year-end dance recital. Guests included Terry and Nancy Weischedel, Ryder, Alyssa and Wylder Weischedel, Jarvis and Patty Hegland, Jill Zietz and family, Greg and Cindy Hegland, Holly Zieman, and Lola Heer.
