Oberon Oracles: Feb. 14, 2022

Lester Roberts was in Carrington and New Rockford on business on Wednesday. He enjoyed lunch with Mary Richter in New Rockford.

Chad Getscher visited Lester on Sunday.

Doris Griffin is looking through seed catalogs in anticipation of spring.

Neal and Liz Swenson will be traveling to Bismarck on Monday. Neal will be measured for his suit for Evan’s wedding and Liz will be dress shopping.

Randy and Charlotte Simon went to Warwick to watch their grandson, Easton Simon play basketball in the eighth grade game and the junior varsity game on Friday night.

On Sunday, the Simon’s took in Jaxon Simon’s basketball games in Carrington. Jaxon played in the fifth grade game and some of the sixth grade game. It was a fourth, fifth and sixth grade tournament.

Dave and Linda Madson accompanied Melodie, Kennedee and McKenzee Madson to Bismarck on Friday. McKenzee and the Devils Lake Flames Squirts played in the hockey tournament against Jamestown, Bismarck, Dickinson and Grand Forks.

Dave and Linda were weekend guests of Dwight and Carol Eckart. Friday night, Dave and Linda took in McKenzee’s game. Following the game, the Eckart’s joined the Madson’s for pizza at a Bismarck restaurant.

Saturday, Dave and Linda and the Eckart’s went to Dwight and Carol’s grandson, Hudson Eckart’s swim meet. After the swim meet, the group took in McKenzee’s hockey game.

Sunday morning, they all attended McKenzee’s final game for the weekend.

The Madson’s returned home on Sunday.

Breana Pacheco and Mavis visited Todd and Nadley Buehler over the weekend. Hunter Buehler joined them to visit with Breana as well.

Breana and Nadley paid a visit to Hunter to see the home projects he and Grace have been working on.

Breana stopped over to see Bria, Brittin and Brooks Buehler Sunday morning. Bria’s parents, Ron and Laurie Knaust were spending a few days visiting the Buehler family too.

Dave Kenner visited Todd Buehler last week.

The John and Donna Grann family spent a long weekend in Spearfish, S.D. skiing.

On Saturday, they attended and celebrated the wedding of Bobbi Grann and Logan Olson. All returned home on Sunday. Congratulations to the newlyweds.
