The New Rockford Community Foundation was established in 2008 as a permanent endowment fund managed by the North Dakota Community Foundation. Earnings from the fund are given as grants every year to organizations that support the New Rockford community. To date, the New Rockford Community Foundation has awarded approximately $35,000 to local organizations, including New Rockford Park District, Dakota Prairie Regional Center for the Arts, Eddy County Museum & Historical Society, Lutheran Home of the Good Shepherd, Community Ambulance Service of New Rockford, Eddy-New Rockford Library, and many more.
