Calvin Packard was at mom Shirley’s on Tuesday and Thursday helping with some reading. Todd Harrison was at Shirley’s on Wednesday and Sunday pushing snow.

Saturday stopper at the Ken and Marvis Holte home was daughter Amanda Bickett.

Arlo Heine of Rapid City, S.D. passed away recently. He was a cousin to Marvis Holte.

Janet Laube and YipYip enjoyed Sunday phone calls from Lois Ockert and Travis Laube of Fargo. Yip loves rolling in the snow and grabbing a few bites while he’s outside.

Friday, Mary Gehrtz was a cleaner at the Shirley Packard home.

Travelers Dave and Cheryl Gabbert are still in Florida for a couple of weeks yet.

Charlotte Koepplin hosted the January Circle Trail Riders meeting at her home. Those attending were Cory Jorgensen, Rob Lies, Bill and Diana Ziegler, Duff and Sandy Settlemeyer, and Dale and Diane Rosenberg. Topics were the family party and annual meeting coming up.

Jamie Allmaras was surprised with a 50th birthday party by family and friends recently at the Eagles Club in New Rockford.

Friday evening, Shirley Packard enjoyed a phone call with Noel Allmaras Evans, long-time friend, formerly from New Rockford, now living in Minnesota.

Amanda Bickett and Izzy were stop in visitors at the Ken and Marvis Holte home on Thursday, bringing cake to share.

Saturday evening found Janelle Koepplin enjoying supper with son Todd and Karen at the golf club.

Shirley Packard was happy to have Todd Harrison push and shovel snow for her three times this week. Thursday, Shirley was around town on business, and she treated son Calvin to a birthday dinner on the fifth.

Taylor, Amanda and Evelyn Koepplin were helpers at grandma Janelle Koepplin’s one evening taking the Christmas tree down. Later, grandma treated them to the Pizza Ranch in Carrington.

Janet Laube and Yip Yip had phone chats with Lois Ockert and grandson Travis Laube of Fargo this week.
