Happy New Year!

Last week: Wednesday overnight guests of the John and Donna Grann family were Larry Howard and Marsha Scheer from Ray.

Ben, Brittany and Dutton Grann spent the weekend in Fargo at the home of Brittany’s brother and family-Tyler and Lydia Zaharia.

Lacey and Johnny Grann returned home from Stephenville, Texas on Christmas Day.

This week: Todd and Nadley Buehler and Hunter Buehler enjoyed Christmas supper at the Beau and Bria Buehler farm. Brittin and Brooks helped with the entertaining.

Dave Kenner and Randy Simon visited Todd Buehler last week.

Sherry Boehmer joined Nadley Buehler to shop and keep a doctor’s appointment in Grand Forks on Thursday.

Sunday visitors at the Todd and Nadley Buehler farm were Gary Hendrickson of Olathe, Kan., and later, Mike and Sherry Boehmer of Devils Lake.

Christmas Day, Lester Roberts, along with Gene Woolley and Sigurd Olson, enjoyed the Christmas dinner served at Ostby Hall in Sheyenne.

Lester had a phone call from Aaron Taylor of Rochester, Minn. the week after Christmas.

Roger Roberts called Lester one day this week.

Sunday visitors at Lester’s were Lezlee Thorson and Chad Getscher.

Randy Simon visited Todd Buehler on Friday.

Randy went to Casselton to a basketball game in which his grandson, Easton Simon, participated.

New Years Day, Randy and Charlotte went to the Elks in Devils Lake with Melodee and Terry Thompson and enjoyed their afternoon.

Sunday, Randy and Charlotte were in Devils Lake to attend the third and fourth grade 3-on-3 basketball tournament at the Sport Center. Their grandson, Max Thompson, is a member of a team from Grand Forks so they cheered him on.

Donna Grann stopped by to see Cyndy Lund of Devils Lake on Friday to wish her a Happy New Year.

Teddy Zaharias and Steve Houston of Bathgate were Sunday afternoon visitors of Ben, Brittany and Dutton Grann.

Sunday evening, John and Donna joined them for supper out.

Linda, Melodie, Kennedee and McKenzee Madson, and Carrie Prince, attended Christmas Eve services at Calvary Lutheran church in Oberon. Following services, the Madson’s (including Dave) were Christmas Eve and overnight guests of Carrie and Paul Prince.

Christmas Day, the Madson’s, and Carrie and Paul, traveled to Jamestown to the home of Shawn and Cathy Caulfield. Carrie and Paul returned home that evening, and the Madson’s were overnight guests. Other guests were Brandon and Sarah Caulfield, Paige and Easton, and Jerad Caulfield and his children, Ryker and Ashton all of Jamestown, and his friend, Elisha Mitzel and her son from Bismarck.

The Madson’s planned to go home on Sunday, but the weather changed those plans so were overnight guests Sunday night as well. The weather cleared so they were able to return home Monday afternoon.

New Year’s Eve, Dave and Linda were supper guests at Melodie’s home.

New Years Day, Melodie, Kennedee and McKenzee were dinner guests at Dave and Linda’s.

Linda enjoyed a phone visit with Stacy Madson of Ranchester, Wyo. on Saturday evening.
