Kramlich earns second place at N.D. Middle School Tourney

New Rockford-Sheyenne seventh grader Skye Kramlich, wrestling for Carrington, brought home second place in his weight class at the 2021 North Dakota Middle School State Wrestling Tournament held at the Minot Auditorium on Saturday, Dec. 18.

Kramlich wrestled in the seventh-eighth-grade 90-pound class, and won his first three matches before being pinned by Dickinson's Max Glaser in the championship match. He was one of five Cardinal wrestlers to participate in the event.

As a group, Carrington took 21st place overall with 39 team points.

Dickinson won the tournament with 215 points, and the top five-team finishes all came from Class A schools. Velva was the top small school finisher, scoring 94 points.
