Friday, Marvis Holte, Amanda Bickett and Holly Zieman enjoyed coffee and conversation at the Garden Gate in Carrington.

Monday, Calvin Packard read cards and the mail to his mom, Shirley. Todd Harrison cleaned snow from Shirley’s walks, and on Tuesday, Diana Seibold and Mary Schultz, both of Fessenden, picked up some books from Shirley.

Sunday, Shirley Packard enjoyed a Christmas phone call from long-time friend, Glofia (Price) Marcon, from Front Royal, Va.

Tuesday, Shirley Packard rode the New Rockford van to Carrington, where she had a medical appointment and did some shopping. That evening, daughter Cindy Toben of Watertown, S.D. arrived at the Packard home.

Wednesday found Cindy Toben and mom Shirley Packard finding bargains in Jamestown and enjoying supper out. Then, they were among those who thoroughly enjoyed the Medora Christmas Musical Concert at Jamestown University. Cindy returned to her home on Thursday.

Janet Laube and YipYip enjoyed Sunday phone calls from Lois Ockert of Fargo, and grandson Travis Laube.

Eloise Lucht heard from son Larry and Irene Lucht of Virginia. They are getting ready for a family Christmas.

New Rockford and area folks extend sympathy to the family of Keith Wright.
