Blizzard impacting area; several business closures already announced

Our area is in a Blizzard Warning until 06:00PM Monday, December 27.

* WHAT...Blizzard conditions. Additional snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph.

* WHEN...Until 6 PM CST this evening.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Widespread blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches. The cold wind chills as low as 25 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.
