On Thursday, Dec. 9, the New Rockford-Sheyenne gymnasium was filled with high school musicians decked out in their ugly Christmas sweaters. The junior high and high school choirs sang many different Christmas carols, including 'Jolly Old Saint Nick!' and 'December Rose'. The gymnasium was festively decorated with poinsettias from Gina Clifton at the Flower Scent-R and greenery from the music department's annual fundraiser.
During the annual Christmas concert, an ugly sweater contest is held. This year's top three ugly sweaters were worn by Hallie Brown, Lucy Meier and Ava Peterson.
