2021 Difficult Year for ND Mule Deer

Fawnless. A more than 25 percent drop year-over-year in the mule deer fawn-to-doe ratio suggests that poor body conditions of adult does and lack of protective cover for fawns impacted recruitment numbers seen in this fall's surveys by the NDG&F Dept.
