*Nov. 29: Dove season closes.
*Dec. 1: N.D. Game and Fish Dept. public advisory meetings, Leeds Community Center, 7 p.m.
*Dec. 2: N.D. Game and Fish Dept. public advisory meetings, UND Memorial Union, Grand Forks, 7 p.m.
*Dec. 5: Whitefront goose and High Plains duck, merganser, coot, and snipe seasons close.
*Dec. 11: High Plains duck, merganser, and coot seasons re-open.
Fishing:
*N.D. Game and Fish Dept. Dist. game wardens: Little activity on the Missouri River System, Devils Lake, and area lakes.
*Devils Lake, Ed’s Bait Shop, Devils Lake: Devils Lake generally quiet although a few anglers still working the bridges depending on shoreline ice formation.
*Devils Lake, West Bay Resort, Minnewaukan: No new reports.
*Devils Lake, Woodland Resort, Devils Lake: Activity remains light. Try Lindy rigs and minnows on the bottom around the bridges.
*Foster County area lakes, Dry Dock, Carrington: Anglers waiting for safe ice yet.
*Jamestown Reservoir, Pioneer Bait and Tackle, Jamestown: Lakes quiet throughout the area.
*Jamestown Reservoir, Sooper Stop, Jamestown: No new reports.
*Lake Ashtabula, Ashtabula Crossing, Luverne: No new reports.
*Lake Ashtabula, Bayshore, Valley City: No activity with anglers waiting for ice-over.
*Lake Sakakawea, Cenex Bait and Tackle, Garrison: Little activity on the east end of Lake Sakakawea and Lake Audubon.
*Lake Sakakawea/Lake Audubon/Missouri River, Scott’s Bait and Tackle, Pick City: Missouri River tailrace remains slow with low river levels and access concerns. No activity on the east end of Lake Sakakawea.
*Lonetree WMA area lakes, Harvey: Coal Mine Lake opens to small game hunting and fishing on Dec. 1. No activity on other area lakes.
Hunting:
*Deer: Some rut activity could still be underway for muzzleloader hunters.
*Upland: Pheasants moving into heavier winter cover. Try working cattails and heavy vegetation.
*Waterfowl: Look for birds to continue moving out with nighttime freezing temperatures icing smaller water bodies. Birds moving to the Missouri River System, large water, and south.
