Trees are up! Pick a tag and "Share the Joy of Christmas"

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Consider sharing your holiday joy with a family in need.

The Share the Joy of Christmas program is in full swing, and there are two ways to brighten the spirits of local families.

1. Go shopping! Pick a tag from one of the trees at First Lutheran Church, Do it Best Hardware, St. John’s Catholic Church or Central Pharmacy.

The Share the Joy of Christmas Committee encourages givers to purchase their gifts locally. Do it Best Hardware and Central Pharmacy have a great selection of toys and gifts. Or, fill that box with unique apparel from the Transcript, Beyond the Brand Boutique, Positive Vibes Apparel or 8th Street Boutique. There are many opportunities to support local businesses AND make the holidays special for families in need!

2. Make a donation! Place your donation in one of the envelopes provided on the tree and leave it with the staff at the tree location. Donations can also be dropped off or mailed to Central Prairie Human Service Zone, 22 South 9th Street, New Rockford, N.D. 58356. Please make checks payable to “Share the Joy of Christmas.”
