Ken and Marvis Holte called Arkansas on Saturday and wished Marvis’ sister Ardy Yates a happy birthday, only to find out that the Yates had lost their good friend Matilda.

Eloise Lucht is looking forward to having son Scott and Mrs. Lucht come from Rochester, Minn. for Thanksgiving. Scott has been busy putting new windows in his home.

Shirley rode the New Rockford van to Carrington one day to do some necessary shopping. Sunday, Calvin Packard was a helper at mom’s.

MarJean Pfau stopped briefly one day at the Janet Laube home and did a couple of errands. Janet also enjoyed a couple of phone calls with sister-in-law Lois Ockert of Fargo.

Ken and Marvis Holte drove to Devils Lake on Thursday, where they picked up daughter Fayette Nelson and did some shopping, and then returned to Fayette’s. They enjoyed crock pot chili and a visit with Fayette’s mother-in-law, Vie Nelson.

Candy Jensen enjoyed Halloween calls from son Jerrod and Angie Holte, son Derik and Val Holte of Mapleton and Minneapolis, and sister-in-law Ceciel Bauer Koepplin, also of Minneapolis.

Martin and Janelle Koepplin enjoyed Halloween visits from son Aaron and Danielle Koepplin and grandkids Kerigan, Chevelle and Hendrix, and grandson Taylor and Amanda Koepplin and great-granddaughter Evelyn.
