Lions Club donates $10,000 to NR Fire

President Kelly McKnight and Rick Swenson presented the check to New Rockford Fire Chief Todd Allmaras and fire department members John Allmaras, Carson Hurn, and Jeremy Schrock.
The New Rockford Lions Club hosted a Fiesta Taco Bar on Sunday, Oct. 4 during Fire Prevention Week. They raised $2,000 to help the New Rockford Fire Department with equipment expenses.
The Lions Club then added $8,000 more, for a total of $10,000 going to the fire department.
