Janet Laube and YipYip were shoppers on Monday in Devils Lake, and Tuesday in Jamestown, shopping for Yips favorite treats.

Sunday, son Loren Holte and family enjoyed a phone call with mom and dad, Marvis and Ken Holte. All are doing fine, just getting ready for winter.

Monday morning visitor to the Shirley Packard home was Ruby Simms. Kevin Johnson and Chris Bittmann did some errands for Shirley. Friday, Kristi Swenson stopped at the Packard home on Lions Club business, and Mary Gehrtz was there cleaning.

Grandson Travis Laube called and chatted with Janet Laube one day. Travis is keeping busy in his mechanic shop in Fargo.

Friday, Amanda Bickett and Izzy were stoppers at the Ken and Marvis Holte home. They enjoyed chatting over tea, and Amanda had brought dad Ken his favorite, head cheese.

Travelers Dave and Cheryl Gabbert left Blaine, Minn. on Oct. 1 to go to Kansas and found themselves in Texas. They will travel from Texas to Florida, where they plan to spend most of the winter.

Eloise Lucht heard from her son Alan and family who had enjoyed a trip to Norway.
