Lisa Wallace, Mary Gehrtz and Jodi Hirchert were among the Lions members who prepared and served tacos, rice, beans and churros on Sunday, Oct. 3.
To kick off National Fire Prevention Week, the Lions Club held a supper on Sunday, October 3, to benefit the New Rockford Fire Department. Approximately 150 people were served soft shell tacos, or a taco in a bag plus all the fixings. The Lions Club also handed out smoke detectors to the families attending the supper. Two thousand dollars was raised for the fire department.
