Last week:

Dave Kenner visited Todd Buehler Saturday and Sunday.

Grace and Hunter Buehler and Breana, and Michael Pacheco, attended the Jakob Schmid and Alison Widmer wedding on Saturday in Bismarck.

Breana and Michael, and Mavis and Waylon visited Todd and Nadley on Sunday and Monday of Labor Day weekend.

Sunday evening, Hunter and Grace joined the Pacheco’s at the Buehler farm for supper.

Monday dinner guests at the Buehler farm were Breana and Michael, Hunter and Grace, and Beau, Bria, Brittin and Brooks Buehler.

Monday, John, Donna, and Lacey Grann traveled to Jamestown to watch Johnny and the University of Jamestown Jimmies JV football team play Mayville.

Donna and Bobbie Grann, and Emersyn Olson went to the Healing Horse Ranch in Parshall and competed in the Cans and Cash weekend barrel race.

Larry Howard and Marsha Scheer came from Epping on Sunday to watch the event and visit.

Sunday, Ben, Brittany, and Dutton Grann, John and Lacey, Zac Johnson and Elise Burwell all went to Jamestown to watch the final performance of the Roughrider Rodeo Finals, and also take in the Jimmies JV football scrimmage vs. the Presentation College JV of Aberdeen, S.D.

This week:

Thursday, Howard and Helen, and Tom and Pam Schmid, went to Bismarck to attend Ron Poer’s funeral. Our sympathy to Ron’s family.

Howard and Helen went with Doug Schmid to the Bison football game in Fargo. They were also joined by Joe Schmid, who lives in Fargo.

Sunday, Howard and Helen hiked the nature trail at WhiteHorse Hill.

Howard reported that Pastor Richard Smith’s wife, Toni passed away. Pastor Smith was the pastor at Calvary Lutheran Church in Oberon for many years. Our sympathy to Pastor Smith and family.

Last Sunday, Dave, Linda, Melodie and Kennedee Madson were overnight guests at Carrie and Paul Prince’s home. Melodie’s birthday was also celebrated with great food and a delicious cake.

Friday evening, Melodie’s birthday was again celebrated by Dave and Linda, Kennedee and McKenzee, with a trip to the Spirit Lake Casino buffet.

Saturday afternoon, coffee and Melodie’s birthday cake were served to Dave and Linda, and Mr. Syl Brown.

Craig and Sandy Poulsen, and Jeffrey and Jean Poulsen of Alaska, and Joni Duckworth of Larimore, were Sunday afternoon visitors at Dave and Linda’s, and Melodie’s homes. Craig, Jeff, Joni and Linda are first cousins.

Lester Roberts and Midge Quam went to the Steam Thresher Show at Stump Lake on Sunday of Labor Day weekend. Midge is originally from that area and enjoyed seeing many friends at the show.

Lester went back to Stump Lake on Monday to enjoy the show.

Lester kept a medical appointment in Devils Lake on Tuesday.

Nadley Buehler joined Charlotte Simon Saturday for an afternoon at JunkFest, and shopping in Carrington.

Dave Kenner visited Todd last week.

Brittany and Dutton Grann were in Brookings, S.D. from Tuesday through Thursday.

John, Donna, Lacey and Bobbi Grann, and Emersyn Olson, traveled to the Big Horn Mountains in Wyoming from Thursday through Sunday. They had a good time hiking in the mountains and on the way home, took in the Medora Musical.

Ben Grann judged a High School Rodeo in Velva on Sunday.
