Area folks extend sympathy to the family of Cameron Pierson.
Candy Jensen and Terry Koepplin joined niece Jodi and Dave Bergman and Jodi’s father Johnny Johnson and friend for a catch-up visit over breakfast on Wednesday at the Rockford Café. Johnny also enjoyed a visit to his old stomping grounds near Grace City, where he was a resident and farmer.
Monday, workers at the Shirley Packard home were Kevin Johnson and Chris. They placed new blocks for her front walk. Tuesday, Shirley placed some pails and jars in the Aldayels’ barn to surprise Merita. Wednesday, Shirley and others rode the Eddy Transit to Devils Lake and did some shopping.
Monday, Amanda Bickett and Izzy enjoyed a visit at mom and dad, Ken and Marvis Holte’s, and returned Sunday to check in.
Janet Laube enjoyed a phone call from great-granddaughter Kalia Kimble, who is a house guest of grandmother Donna Sharbono. Kalia is from Wyoming.
Shirley Packard rode the Carrington Transit to Fargo, where she had an eye appointment on Thursday. Friday, she and son Calvin were among the many who attended the funeral for Cameron Pierson at First Lutheran Church in New Rockford, and later chatted over lunch with Helen Duda at the Bird Dawg.
Marvis Holte called her sister Ardy and husband Bob Yates on Sunday and wished them a happy 47th anniversary. The Yates are enduring heavy rains, humidity and heat in Arkansas where they live.
Tuesday, Janet Laube and YipYip drove to Harvey where YipYip had an appointment to get a haircut plus other necessary things, ending with a sudsy bath, and came home fresh and new.
Todd Harrison was a Saturday stopper at the Shirley Packard home.
