Jeff and Denise Labrensz enjoyed the 150th anniversary of Campbell, Minn., this past weekend. Denise attended school there for her 12 years of education. They both enjoyed visiting with family and friends, watching a great parade and touring the school. An interesting fact about the school; it is Campbell-Tintah as of the fall of 1972, and over the years has had sports co-ops with Fairmount, N.D., and currently with Rosholt, S.D. They are now the Tri-State Tigers and participate in the North Dakota High School Athletic Association.

The last weekend of June, Jeff and Denise enjoyed spending time in Deadwood, S.D., to attend Jeff's all-school reunion in McLaughlin, S.D. He was able to connect with seven of his classmates, plus quite a few others. The joys that come from being from small towns for both of us!

Last Wednesday afternoon, Patti Clifton rode along with Jan Loe and Kathy Magnan to Grand Forks where Kathy had a medical appointment. Later, they did a little shopping and enjoyed a meal before returning to Sheyenne.

Friday afternoon, Deanna Erickson and Patti Clifton attended the funeral service for Bernice Hallsten at First Lutheran Church in Sheyenne. She was the mother of their Sheyenne school classmate, Steve Hallsten.
