LRSC and LHGS sign agreement to offer nursing apprenticeships

On June 17, Lutheran Home of the Good Shepherd became the latest partner in the long term care industry to host nursing apprentices from Lake Region State College.

The program combines rigorous academic requirements with on-the-job learning, a mentor relationship with a staff nurse, and eventually a Department of Labor certificate of completion to help acclimate students to the nursing profession and prepare them for an in-demand and challenging career.
