The JV team did not have a good game and lost 10-1. SNR started the scoring in the first inning when the lead off batter Connor Knatterud walked and stole second base. He was driven in with a single by Brody Weisenburger a few batters later. That was all the scoring that SNR could muster. The only bright spots for the Sox were Wiesenburger and Kage Walford, who each managed two hits in the game.

SNR pitching was hurt by a combination of walks, hits, errors and misplays in the field. The Spartans scored four runs in the second inning off SNR starter Luke Yri. D.J. Mudgett entered in the third inning and pitched well early, but then gave up four runs late. Knatterud relieved Mudgett in the fourth inning and gave up the final two runs.
