Johnson, Grann selected for 2021 N.D. Shrine Bowl

Hunter Johnson and Johnny Grann of New Rockford-Sheyenne are two of the 27 individuals chosen for the 9-Man East team in the 2021 N.D. Shrine Bowl. John Fischer of Benson County and Hunter Gronneberg of Griggs-Midkota were also selected for the 9-Man East team. Head coach of the 9-Man East team will be Sandy Laxdal of Cavalier, assisted by Larry Fontaine and Andrew Kainz of Finley-Sharon-Hope-Page, and Josh Keller of North Prairie.

Bronson Walter of Four Winds-Minnewaukan was selected for the 9-Man West team. Tanner Purintan of Linton-H-M-B is the head coach of the 9-Man West team, assisted by Mike Zier of Beach, Ben Wollenzien of T-G-U, and Mark Kennedy of Surrey.

The North Dakota Shrine Bowl is set to take place on Saturday, June 19 at West Fargo High School with the 11-man game starting at 4 p.m. and the 9-man game to follow at 7 p.m.
