Last Wednesday, Patti Clifton rode along with Jan Loe to Jamestown. Nice day to browse and shop with no appointments! Jan took some items to recycling, then they shopped a little before heading back to Sheyenne. They stopped in Carrington and had a bite to eat before continuing home.
Thursday, Jan Loe accompanied Patti Clifton to Maddock where Patti did some business at North Star Community Credit Union. They met Donna Smith and Carolyn Harwood for noon lunch at Harriman's. It was a nice long, overdue, visit.
Celebrating Marilyn Stenberg's 86th birthday on Saturday at the Sheyenne Senior Center were her daughters, Melissa Stenberg of Minneapolis, and Dave and Nadine Salwey of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and her son Jason of Pekin. Also celebrating with Marilyn were Jan and Steph Loe; Marilyn's sister Ellen Burthold of McVille, and her daughter Liz Hagen of West Fargo, along with Marilyn's cousins, Mary Ellen Rue and Betty Westby of New Rockford, and Beverly Solderholm of Sheyenne; and a former neighbor, Arlene Morten of Devils Lake.
Jan Loe was in Devils Lake on Monday, where she met May Fleischer for noon lunch and a visit.
