Volleyball awards handed out

If I could think of one word to describe our season it would be "Resilience," meaning – the ability to recover quickly from difficulties. I felt like there were a lot of difficulties for our team during this past season with COVID. All of our tournaments were canceled and few of our games, as well. And who can forget our 16 days of quarantine. There was a lot of disappointment, but the one thing I admired about each of the athletes was their attitude when we got back on the court and practiced. They wanted to play, they wanted to compete, and their energy was inspiring. It showed how tough they were, and again their ability to recover quickly from difficulties, which are life lessons!

The Rockets finished their volleyball season 7-2-1 in the Region and 12-7-1 overall.
