New Rockford and area folks extend sympathy to the families of James (Jake) Ferguson and Marilyn Allmaras.

Dianna Siebold of Fessenden had a little outdoor visit at the Shirley Packard home recently, as did Judy McKnight, bringing Shirley some reading material.

Janet Laube and YipYip returned home Thursday after being house guests over Easter at her sister-in-law Lois Ockert’s in Fargo. Janet enjoyed visiting with other families and doing a bit of shopping.

Weekend guests at the Todd and Karen Koepplin home were grandkids Kenna and Grady Lewis of Dickinson.

Friday, Ken and Marvis Holte and daughter Amanda Bickett drove to Devils Lake, did a bit of shopping and enjoyed a visit at daughter Fayette and son-in-law Donnie Nelson’s over coffee, tea and dessert.

Candy Jensen enjoyed a phone chat with Brenda (Trauman) Thurn from South Dakota one evening.

Kevin Johnson helped Shirley Packard out with a problem lamp on Tuesday afternoon.

Eloise Lucht heard from her sister Ann from Alaska, recently. Ann’s son, Randy, had been in a serious snowmobile accident that landed him in an Anchorage hospital, where he has had some surgeries on his back with possibly more surgeries. Randy has a long road to recovery ahead of him.
