Johnny Grann and friends, Stephen Merrick and Evan Ulrich, went to Minot on Saturday to watch the championship game of the State Class B Boys Basketball Tournament.

John and Donna Grann flew to Stephenville, Texas on Friday, to visit Bobbi and Logan and await the arrival of their new granddaughter.

Lezlee Thorson visited her dad, Lester Roberts, on Friday.

Saturday, Lester had a phone visit with Don Knutson from Phoenix, Ariz.

Lester’s Saturday visitors were his daughter, Bobbi Duberowski and her husband, Tom, from Parkers Prairie, Minn. and Lester’s brother, Roger, also stopped by.

Sunday, Bobbie and Tom, and Chad Getscher and grandson, Ryan Thorson, and his son, Aiden of Grand Forks, all visited Lester.

Carrie Prince helped her dad, Dave Madson, with a project on Saturday.

Linda Madson took in the Lake Region Figure Skating Club 75th Anniversary Ice Show at the Burdick Arena Saturday evening. Great granddaughters, Kennedee and McKenzee Madson, were in several of the numbers. It was an excellent show that also had cute commercials.

Sunday afternoon, Carrie and Linda enjoyed the show, along with Joni Duckworth of Larimore. Following the ice show, Joni, Carrie and Dave, and Linda, joined Melodie, Kennedee and McKenzee for supper.

Dave Kenner and Pastor Jeff visited Todd Buehler on Monday.

Nadley Buehler joined teacher friends for lunch in Devils Lake on Thursday.

Calvary Lutheran Church in Oberon will celebrate Palm Sunday, March 28 at the 9 a.m. service.

Good Friday service will be at 7 p.m. at Calvary on Friday, April 2.

Easter services this year are at First Lutheran Church in Sheyenne, and 9 a.m. at Grandfield Lutheran, rural Sheyenne. All are welcome.
