New Rockford and area folks extend sympathy to the family of Tim Clapper.

Thursday, Shirley Packard enjoyed a phone chat with cousin, Linda Hartl Lies from Fargo, where Old Man Winter was showing his face. All’s well at the Lies home.

House guest and helper this past week at the Candy Jensen home was her son, Derik Holte, of Minneapolis. Derik and several high school classmates from the area got together for a fun, mini reunion of sorts one evening. Derik was up early Thursday morning, and on his way back home was running into some snowy and icy roads in Minn., but made it home safe and sound.

Janet Laube and YipYip were early evening visitors and supper guests on Sunday at the Charlotte Koepplin home.

Shirley Packard gave Rodney and Marvel Ebenhahn a friendly phone call Saturday to wish them a happy wedding anniversary. They will have been married 60 years on March 16.

Ken and Marvis Holte enjoyed a drive around New Rockford on Saturday, stopping for coffee, tea and treats at the Rockford Café.

Heidi Schnieder of Devils Lake drove mom, Eloise Lucht, to Grand Forks last Tuesday, where Eloise got good news after an eye clinic appointment.
