Tuesday morning, Charlotte Koepplin was surprised by a nice cup of hot coffee and a visit from third cousin, Bob Longnecker of Mound, Minn., and Jim Brown of Eagle Idaho. Bob is the son of the late Leo Longnecker, and Jim is friend to Cindy Longnecker Allen, daughter of the late Virgil Longnecker. Cindy is also Charlotte’s third cousin. The fellas were leaving later Tuesday for their homes after an enjoyable weekend of ice fishing on Devils Lake and as house guests of Eric and Lisa Longnecker.

Jimmy Indergaard enjoyed phone chats with Sharon Laxdal, Vicki Magill and his uncle, Mervin Indergaard, on Saturday. Last Thursday, Jimmy accompanied Ruth Braaten, Nikki and Page to Jamestown, where all cheered the Carrington girls’ basketball team onto a win.

Margie Anderson took condolences to Leona Black on Sunday, as Leona’s daughter, Becky had passed away.

Martin Koepplin stopped at sister Charlotte’s Tuesday afternoon and traded homemade sausage for a couple of jars of home canned tomatoes.

Circle Trail Riders Inc. held their March meeting, Monday the 1st, at the home of Charlotte Koepplin. Those attending and getting business done were Cory Jorgensen, Diane Rosenberg, Nancy Ludwig, Kim Brown, Brent Helseth, Bill and Diana Ziegler, Jay Cudworth and Dianne Goebel.

Wednesday, Charlotte Koepplin accompanied Martin and Janelle Koepplin to Devils Lake, where all had appointments at the Eye Clinic. They enjoyed lunch and a Dairy Queen treat before returning home.

Afternoon visitor at the Margie Anderson home Wednesday, was daughter, Patti Larson. Margie enjoyed visits this week with Bev Bjornson and Darlene Daugherty. Saturday afternoon, David and Karen Anderson and grandsons, Westen and Boden Sylling stopped in for a visit at great grandma Margie’s.

Charlotte Koepplin enjoyed a catch-up phone chat with cousin, Sandra Koepplin Johnson, of Minneapolis on Wednesday. Sandra is the daughter of the late Andrew and Ramona Smith Koepplin.

Margie Anderson and many other family members enjoyed a Sunday brunch banquet at the Ryan and Laura Hager home following worship service at Kvernes Lutheran Church and the baptism of the Hager’s infant son, Jamison Allen.
