Candy Jensen was happy to get a phone call from niece Michelle Erickson Friday. Michelle is from Thief River Falls, Minn. Saturday Candy enjoyed a phone chat from son Derik Holte and Val from their home in Minneapolis filled with Valentine wishes.

Shirley Packard took the much appreciated Eddy County Transit to a chiropractic appointment on Monday and appreciated another ride Thursday to Central Pharmacy where she received her second Covid shot.

Eloise Lucht got Valentine’s Day calls from sons Larry, Alan and Scott and daughter Heidi and their families from near and far.

Janet Laube called Shelly Nelson in Oklahoma on Valentine’s Day to find out Shelly is battling rain and icy weather. Sister in law Lois Ockert of Fargo called and wished Janet and Yip Yip a happy Valentine’s Day.

Amanda Bickett shared some mighty fine cookies with her parents Ken and Marvis Holte on Valentine’s Day. The cookies being a treat, made and shared from the ninth grade confirmation class at Trinity Lutheran Church in Carrington.

Candy Jensen was happy to get a phone call from niece Teresa Sather from their home in Fargo filled with sweet Valentine messages on Sunday. All is well with the Sathers. Mindy Skjerva stopped in at Candy’s with Valentine’s greetings from her and sweet Audrey. Finally all getting to exchange Christmas gifts and Valentine’s. A happy time especially that little Audrey had colored some special pictures for grandma Candy.

Friday Dorothy Fenske carried on an old tradition for her as she delivered yummy homemade Valentine’s cookies to friends. Ken and Marvis Holte are surely enjoying theirs.

Mary Gehrtz was a Friday helper at the Shirley Packard home.
