Sad news for Pleasant Prairie folks, as former resident of the township and long time farmer Charles Richter passed away at the Lutheran Home of the Good Shepherd Sunday, Feb. 14.

Sunday afternoon David Anderson was a brief visitor at mom’s Margie Anderson at Heritage House.

Last Friday and Tuesday found sister Sharon Laxdal checking in with her brother Jimmy Indergaard. Cousin Vicki Magill chatted with him on Tuesday and Wednesday evening and Thursday he was a supper guest at the Mervin Indergaard home. And Saturday he enjoyed visiting over supper at the Andy and Ruth Braaten home with nieces Noelle and Nikki.

Margie Anderson was among the residents to enjoy a special Valentine’s Day dinner at Heritage House Sunday.

Circle Trail Riders Inc. held their February meeting on the 8th at Secretary Charlotte Koepplin's home. Eight were in attendance, being President Cory Jorgensen, Vice President Dianne Goebel, Sec./Treas Charlotte, Bill and Diana Ziegler, Dale and Diane Rosenberg and Brent Helseth. Matters discussed were the upcoming annual meeting, June trail ride and the annual fundraiser raffle in June.

Margie Anderson took Valentine cookie treats to the Hager great-grandchildren Sunday.

Charlotte Koepplin felt special as she received two deliveries for Valentine's Day: a succulent plant arrangement from Todd and Karen Koepplin and a beautiful lavender flower bouquet from Aaron and Danielle Koepplin and family.

Carol Clancy of Thompson, N.D. called Charlotte Koepplin on Valentine’s Day just checking in on Charlotte and a family catch up. All is okay with Carol and Jerry. They have been enduring the cold along with avoiding the Covid.
