Easton and Jaxon Simon spent last weekend with Grandpa and Grandma Simon. Randy and Charlotte stayed with the boys at their home Sunday and Monday nights so the boys could catch the bus for school.

Tuesday, Randy and Charlotte went to McVille to watch Easton’s basketball team’s game with Dakota Prairie.

Thursday, Charlotte helped the Coffee Shop ladies make cheesecake and pies at the Community Center in Maddock for Pie Day at the Coffee Shop.

The Simon’s kept appointments in Grand Forks on Friday and following the appointments, spent the evening with Heidi, Carson, Max and Elin Thompson.

Saturday evening, Randy and Charlotte took in the Benson County Wildcats and Four Winds-Minnewaukan basketball game at the District Tournament in New Rockford. The Simon’s enjoyed a Valentine’s supper at Harriman’s in Maddock following the game.

Easton Simon celebrated his 13th birthday at his home with his parents, Lee and Amy, his brother, Jaxon and his grandparents, Randy and Charlotte and Barb and Jeff Miller from Fergus Falls, Minnesota on Sunday.

Friday, Amanda Hegland’s parents, Terry and Nancy Weischedel, were overnight guests at the Hegland home. Saturday, Jake, Amanda and family and the Weischedels traveled to Grand Forks and spent Saturday night and Sunday. They attended the women’s basketball game and enjoyed watching Amanda’s cousin Chloe Lamb play against UND.

Tuesday night was Senior night at the New Rockford-Sheyenne boys basketball game against Hatton-Northwood. Johnny Grann and his parents were honored at the last home game.

Donna Grann had some reparative surgery done in Bismarck on Wednesday. John brought her home on Friday. Quick recovery wishes to Donna.

Ben Ayr from Glendive, Mont., was a weekend guest at the home of Ben, Brittany and Dutton Grann. Ben and Ben competed in the Brandon Kolstad Memorial coyote hunt.

Lacey Grann helped in the office at the Kenner Simmental sale on Saturday. Lezlee Thorson visited her dad, Lester Roberts one day this week. Linda Madson accompanied Melodie, Kennedee and McKenzee Madson to the Devils Lake-West Fargo hockey game Tuesday evening. Kennedee and McKenzee’s Lake Region Figure Skating Club Synchro Team skated between the second and third period of the game.

Melodie and Carrie and Paul Prince were Sunday afternoon coffee guests at Dave and Linda’s home.

Reminder: Everyone should be keeping an eye on their sewer vents during this freezing weather to be sure they are not getting ice build-up.
