North Dakota Barley Council election in Eddy County

Barley growers in Eddy County are being urged to participate in the election of a county representative for the North Dakota Barley Council. All barley growers have a definite interest in the membership of the Council are encouraged to participate in the election on Friday, February 19, 2021, at 9:00 AM (CT), via Zoom, following a barley production meeting - register in advance to receive a confirmation email with info about joining the meeting.

Each person, landlord, tenant, husband and/or wife, who planted barley in 2020 or intends to plant barley in 2021 and who has not claimed any barley tax refund within the past year (except for duplicate payments), if present in person, is entitled to vote and is eligible to be a candidate.

The election will be conducted under the supervision of Chandy Howard, County Extension Agent, NDSU Extension, Eddy County.

The North Dakota Barley Council was created in 1983 by legislative enactment to facilitate the production, development, marketing and promotion of barley.
