Open Season Lodge & Event Center to host vendor show

The Open Season Lodge, located in the former Sheyenne School, will open its doors to more than 20 vendors on Saturday, Feb. 6. The event will take place from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Event organizer Alyson Myhre says she is pleasantly surprised at the amount of interest vendors have expressed. Even more impressive is the diversity of products that will be available as a result. Myhre says, “The usual vendors will be there, like Tupperware and Pampered Chef. But we’ll also have products from clothing boutiques, handmade soaps, home decor creators like Pop of Pearl and Grateful Cratefuls, fine art prints and photographs from local artists— and lots more.”

The New Rockford Transcript will even be there, with a special shout-out to Sheyenne by offering reproductions of vintage Phantom gear for sale. Proceeds will benefit the Open Season Lodge.

Entry is free. Lunch items will be available for purchase. Raffle tickets are available, and the drawing will be held on the day of the event. Prizes include a 36-inch Blackstone Griddle, handmade quilts, children’s bikes, individual passes to the New Rockford swimming pool and birthday party packages to be redeemed at Open Season Lodge.

Myhre and her fellow board members also want the public to know that the facility is available for rent and has many potential uses. This vendor show is just one example, as the Open Season Lodge has a full size gymnasium as well as several rooms that can be used for lodging or for small events year round.

The Open Season Lodge is located at 320 Sunnyside Ave in Sheyenne.
