Sheyenne's traditional Christmas Day dinner at Ostby Hall went on again this year as a take-out/curbside delivery event thanks to the efforts of volunteers who spent their time roasting turkeys, mashing potatoes, preparing dressing, buns and cookies. A total of 177 people were served. Thrivent, Warren Implement and Rindy's Sheyenne Bar, for their donations to help with the expenses, and the volunteers who cooked and served the meal are much appreciated by the community and all who attended.

Jason Stenberg of Pekin, Dwain and Connie Brown, Jan Loe and Steph Loe picked up their Christmas Day dinners from Ostby Hall and enjoyed their meals and visiting at the Sheyenne Senior Center.

Patti Clifton received calls with Christmas greetings from Rance and Jena Brown in Wisconsin and Bob and Nora Simonson in Washington.

Al and Marcie Grohs from Lawton drove to Sheyenne and picked up noon meals from Ostby Hall. They then joined Bonnie Deegan at her home for Christmas Day dinner and a visit.

Jan and Steph Loe did a quick trip to Devils Lake on Saturday to do a bit of shopping. They also got a take-out lunch to bring home to Sheyenne.
