The Lake Region Extension Roundup will be an opportunity for producers to incorporate ideas into their farming business to increase their net farm income.

The 2021 Lake Region Extension Roundup will be split into two formats. The first will be a variety of pre-recorded sessions, which will be released on Wednesday, Dec. 30, and be available until Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2021. The second part of the event will be one day of live presentations available via Zoom on Jan. 5. Preregistration is required.

The annual event, which North Dakota State University Extension county offices organize, offers presentations on a wide range of agricultural production.

"This will be a great opportunity to incorporate ideas into your farming business to increase your net farm income," says Bill Hodous, NDSU Extension's agriculture and natural resources agent in Ramsey County.

All links to view the prerecorded sessions and to preregister for the Zoom session can be found at https://www.ag.ndsu.edu/ramseycountyextension. Once you have registered, a link will be sent to you to join on Jan. 5.

General prerecorded session topics include small grains, row crops, marketing, soil health, economics, livestock, weeds, horticulture, family and community wellness and small farms.

Participating in the roundup is free of charge. For more information, contact your county office of NDSU Extension or Hodous at 701-662-7027 or [email protected].
