New Rockford and area folks extend sympathy to the families of Edith Gehrtz and Roy Taylor.

Candy Jensen enjoyed a Sunday phone chat with sister in law, Cecilia Koepplin of Minneapolis. Cecilia and family are doing fine.

Aaron and Danielle Koepplin, Kerigan, Carter and Chevelle, and friends Darren and Amanda trick-or-treated Grampa Marty and Grama Nel Koepplin Halloween afternoon.

Saturday found Jay and Heidi Schnieder, Caleb and Callie stoppers at the Eloise Lucht home.

Ken and Marvis Holte drove to Jamestown Thursday, where they did some shopping and picked up daughter Fayette Nelson on her day off and treated her to lunch and a good visit.

Thursday surprise visitors at the Candy Jensen home were Rick and Cora Koepplin and Katie bringing good news of their moving onto a farm near Warwick.

Janet Laube has enjoyed check-up calls this week from grandson Travis Laube and Lois Ockert, both from Fargo and also niece Shelly Nelson of Oklahoma. All's well on both ends. October 15 found Candy Jensen calling cousin Susie Pahl of Jamestown with 65th birthday greetings.

Taylor and Amanda Koepplin took their sweet Evelyn, the Cookie Monster, around on Halloween afternoon where she trick-or-treated Auntie Charlotte Koepplin, said hello to great-grandparents Fred and Dianne Allmaras by their window, stopped at great-grandparent’s Martin and Janelle Koepplin for some treats and then braved the wind and made it to Grampa Todd and Grama Karen Koepplin’s farm for more treats.

Eloise Lucht had a recent phone chat with son Larry and Irene Lucht of Virginia. All is okay with the Luchts.

Doing errands this week found Calvin Packard and Todd Harrison helping out at the Shirley Packard home.

Sunday visitors and dinner guests at the Ken and Marvis Holte home were Cody and Amanda Bickett and Izzy.

Janet Laube and Yip Yip enjoyed handing out goodies to trick-or-treaters Halloween eve.

Nov. 2-8

New Rockford and area folks extend sympathy to the family of Jodi Carlson.

Brief stopper at the Shirley Packard home Saturday morning was Charlotte Koepplin taking care of some church business.

Daughter Amanda Bickett brought homemade soup to share at the Ken and Marvis Holte home Sunday evening. Also shared was a piece of Amanda's 41st birthday cake.

Saturday afternoon and supper guests at the Charlotte Koepplin home were Janet Laube and Yip Yip.

Daughter Cindy Tohen and Terk of Clear Lake, S.D., arrived at the Shirley Packard home Sunday. Tuesday Cindy drove mom, Shirley, to Minot for an eye appointment.

Roger Topp celebrated his 80th birthday Friday, November 6 getting phone calls and cards filled with good wishes of the day.

Kevin Johnson and Chris did some seasonal yard cleaning at the Shirley Packard home Tuesday.
