New Rockford and area folks extend sympathy to the families of Susan Semmens and Eileen Dockter.

Labor Day found Todd and Karen Koepplin, Taylor and Amanda Koepplin and Evelyn. Martin and Janelle Koepplin, Charlotte Koepplin and other friends potluck dinner guests at the Aaron and Danielle Koepplin home in celebration of Martin's 69th birthday.

Janet Laube and Yip Yip accompanied Charlotte Koepplin to Sheyenne Saturday morning where they patronized the farmers market going home with buttercup squash, French bread, caramel rolls and refrigerator pickles. Yum!

Todd and Karen Koepplin were among those who attended the prayer service for Susan Semmens Friday evening at Evans Funeral Home in New Rockford and later visited at the Charlotte Koepplin home.

Calvin Packard was among those who attended the annual meeting of the Community Credit Union in Sheyenne Saturday at Ostby Hall.

Travelers Dave and Cheryl Gabbert presently of Minneapolis will soon be moving to Blaine, Minn. They will make a drive to Hankinson, N.D., and then to New Rockford to see mom, Shirley Packard and take in the Central Steam Threshers Reunion.

Lillian Gedrose is doing fine practicing distancing through the coronavirus and enjoying check-up phone calls from family. Her family near and far are all fine.

Saturday supper guest at the Janet Laube home found Charlotte Koepplin enjoying bison burgers.

Late Saturday visitors and house guests at the Todd and Karen Koepplin home were Ross and Allyssa Lewis, Kenna and Grady from Dickinson.

Thursday Shirley Packard rode the Senior Van to Carrington where she kept a medical appointment.

Candy Jensen enjoyed a phone call from son Derik Holte and Val recently from their home in Minneapolis. All is good with Derik and Val. Randy Linderman was a brief stopper Wednesday at the Shirley Packard home.

Janet Laube enjoyed phone chats one day with sister in law, Lois Ockert and niece Robin Westall both of Fargo. All is well with them.
