Bill and Diana Ziegler, Duff Settelmeyer, Jay Cudworth and Dianne Goebel were among those to take in a Circle Trail Riders Inc. meeting Tuesday evening at Hanson's Bar in New Rockford. Final plans were made for the upcoming Fall Ride.

Niece Robin Westall of Fargo was a Thursday guest and helper at the Janet Laube home. Robin returned to Fargo Friday.

Bill and Joyce Starke celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary Sunday with an open house at the Congregational Church in New Rockford. Many family and long time friends brought good wishes.

Sunday the Ken and Marvis Holte home was the scene of a couple fun card games of Hand & Foot with Cody and Amanda Bickett with a treat of lemon bars.

Shirley Packard had chiropractor appointments Monday and Friday and is doing better.

Daughter Heidi Schneider picked up mom Eloise Lucht early Monday and drove to Grand Forks where Eloise had an appointment at the All True Eye Clinic, the results being good. The gals enjoyed lunch and headed for home.

Saturday morning Janet Laube and Yip Yip picked up Charlotte Koepplin and drove to Sheyenne where they found parsnips, honey dew, cucumbers and chokecherry jelly at the farmers market.

Friday helper at the Shirley Packard home found Mary Gehrtz. Later Shirley was a brief visitor at the Calvin Packard home. Later Shirley and Calvin and Gary Lindquist chatted over supper at the Rockford Cafe, Shirley's treat.
